Fertility, Genetics and Identity in Halacha

Delivered on 21 Feb, 2018, this lecture discusses the origins of fertility and its advances in recent decades and years. Genetics has made enormous strides in recent times as well, and these have significant halachic implications as well as opportunities. Because of the groundbreaking advances in solving fertility obstacles, new moral and halachic questions have arisen, especially in regards to the maternity and paternity of the resulting child.
